Hotel Bookings

To cancel a hotel booking, go to My Bookings in your account and select "Cancel Booking," or contact our support team with your booking reference number. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

No-shows (failing to check in without cancelling) are treated the same as a late cancellation and are not eligible for a refund.

Tours & Adventure Packages

Cancellation terms for tours and adventure packages may vary by Tour Partner, since these often involve third-party arrangements (transport, guides, permits) booked in advance on your behalf. The specific cancellation window and refund terms for each tour are shown on the tour's booking page before you pay — please review them there.

Where no specific policy is stated on a tour listing, the same 24-hour rule as hotel bookings applies by default.

Event Tickets

Tickets purchased for events organized through WorldBest.lk are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, except where an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organizer — in which case a full refund will be issued automatically.

Wallet Top-Ups

Funds added to your WorldBest.lk wallet are non-refundable as a cash withdrawal, but remain available in your wallet balance indefinitely for future bookings on the Platform. If you believe a top-up was made in error, contact support within 24 hours of the transaction.

Verified Badge Purchases

Verified Badge payments are reviewed by our admin team before the badge is applied. If a purchase is declined after payment, we will contact you directly to arrange a refund or resolve the issue — declined purchases are not automatically refunded, so please check your notifications after submitting.

Platform Service Fee

The platform service fee included in your total at checkout is non-refundable in cases of late cancellation (outside the free-cancellation window), but is included in the refund when a cancellation qualifies for a full refund under the terms above.

Force Majeure

In cases of extraordinary circumstances beyond a Seller's or Tour Partner's control — including natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or public health emergencies — WorldBest.lk will work with the affected party on a case-by-case basis to offer a refund, credit, or rescheduling option where reasonably possible.

How to Request a Refund

Contact support@worldbest.lk with your booking reference number, or use the "Cancel Booking" option in your account dashboard. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24 hours.
